*** GLBA WARM & FUZZY CASUAL-OPEN HORSE SHOW ***

GLBA's purpose is to further improve the breeding, exhibition, sale, and publicity of the buckskin, dun, red dun, and grulla horse.  GLBA also promotes youth exhibitors in the exhibition of their horse and make it a fun experience for all. GLBA is the Michigan charter affiliated with the International Buckskin Horse Association (IBHA) located in Shelby, Indiana.  To learn more about IBHA, click here.  The IBHA hosts the IBHA World Show each year.  This week-long annual event provides a great opportunity for all IBHA horses to earn additional points and awards, but also includes the crowning of Miss Buckskin World, and the Buckskin World Sale, a premier showcase auction of the finest buckskin horses.  Participants from not only the entire US, but also Canada and other countries attend this prestigious event.

We have many open classes included in our showbill for horses of other colors and breeds, in addition to the IBHA approved classes, and encourage horsepeople of all ages to participate in our shows.  We have GLBA year-end awards for both IBHA and open class exhibitors in halter, youth, and all-around categories.
